Yunxiao Li is a China Scholarship Commission funded PhD student in the Rahman Lab at King’s College London, working on antifungal drug discovery. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science from King’s College London.
Her project focuses on the development of novel antifungal agents to address the growing challenge of drug resistance. Her work integrates synthetic chemistry and microbiology to evaluate candidate compounds and their therapeutic potential. Beyond her academic research, she enjoys travelling, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and dance.
