Yuchen Lu is a PhD student on the MRC DTP iCASE Programme in the Rahman Lab, in partnership with AstraZeneca. She obtained a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences from Monash University and a Master of Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet.
Her research focuses on optimising in vitro platforms for PROTAC screening, with the aim of reducing the time and cost required for early-stage discovery of oral degraders. Her project combines bioanalytical development with medicinal chemistry, contributing to advances in targeted protein degradation.
