Sihan Liu

Sihan Liu is a China Scholarship Commission funded PhD student in the Rahman Lab. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Biology from Northwest A&F University and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis, Technology, and Biopharmaceuticals from King’s College London.

Her doctoral project focuses on antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs), specifically the design and mechanistic evaluation of pyrrolobenzodiazepine (PBD)-based payloads. Her research integrates synthetic chemistry with bioconjugation and biological evaluation to advance the next generation of ADCs. She is particularly interested in the interface between chemical biology and therapeutic development. Outside the laboratory, she enjoys city walks, dancing, photography, and vlogging.
