Pria Pretheshan

Pria Pretheshan is a PhD student on the MRC DTP iCASE Programme in the Rahman Lab, partnered with Pheon Therapeutics. She completed an MSci in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry at Imperial College London, where she worked on small-molecule inhibitors of Rab27a in the Tate Lab.

Her PhD project focuses on efflux-resistant topoisomerase I inhibitors as ADC payloads. By addressing efflux-mediated chemoresistance, her work aims to support the development of more durable and selective ADCs. Her project spans synthetic chemistry, computational modelling, bioconjugation, and preclinical biological evaluation, providing a broad perspective across the ADC drug discovery pipeline.
