Paolo Andriollo is a Research Associate in the Rahman Lab at King’s College London. He holds an MSc in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Techniques from the University of Padua and a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from King’s College London, where he developed novel DNA-interactive agents for antibody–drug conjugates. He has more than ten years of experience across academia and industry, covering drug design, development, and clinical validation.
At King’s, his research focuses on designing and synthesising cytotoxic agents and therapeutic delivery systems to address unmet needs in oncology and infectious disease. He has contributed to several patents as a co-inventor and published peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. Alongside research, he manages laboratory activities and mentors junior scientists. His role integrates synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and translational aspects of drug discovery, linking early-stage design to preclinical evaluation.
